Terms of Use
The rules for using this website and our services. Last updated: June 2026.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website (en.nec.org.cn) and the registration, coaching and enquiry services offered by Hanlin International Education (“we”, “us”, “our”) — the independent operator of this website and a test center authorized by the China National Economics Challenge (CNEC). By using this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. About this website
This website is independently operated by Hanlin International Education. It provides information about the NEC and the China National Round (CNEC), together with the competition services we offer as a CNEC-authorized test center. The NEC itself is organised by the Council for Economic Education (CEE), and this website is not the organizer’s official website. While we make every effort to keep information accurate and current, the official competition rules, dates, divisions and eligibility are determined by the organizer. In the event of any conflict, the organizer’s official announcements prevail.
2. Intellectual property
The content on this website — including text, layout, graphics and images — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. Names and marks such as “National Economics Challenge”, “NEC”, “CNEC” and “CEE” belong to their respective owners. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use; you may not copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
3. Registration and services
- You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when registering or enquiring.
- Eligibility, team composition and division are subject to the official competition rules.
- Fees for registration, coaching and trial classes are payable only through the channels we specify; any refunds follow the applicable policy and the organizer’s rules.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful or infringing purpose.
5. Third-party links
This website may link to third-party sites for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party site.
6. Disclaimer
This website and its content are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular competition outcome, result or admission benefit.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its update date, and your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
